About

Karnataka Rajya Madhyamika Shikshaka Sangha (KRMSS®) was found in 1965 by a few like-minded teachers who had Bharatiya thought of education which was based on the concept of ‘Value based education’ and not information-oriented education. Shree M.V Krishna Rao, a professor in A.P.S College was the first president and the general secretary was Shree Mallur Anand Rao.

As an organisation, we always strive towards betterment of the education system in a holistic way. Through our various efforts over the past decades, we have been able to address many problems of teachers and the education system itself. We also are proud to have collaborated with Canadian Teacher’s Federation, Educational International and World Confederation of Teachers Federation in the past.

Our Aim

  • To inculcate professional ethics among the teachers
  • To expose the teachers to newer methods of teaching
  • To upgrade the level of knowledge and self-confidence among teachers
  • To give a proper direction to our present day education
  • To fight for the injustice caused to the teaching fraternity
  • To strive for the upliftment  of underprivileged students
  • To increase awareness about the Indian contribution to the education system
